MORE than £300 was raised in aid of charity at a jewellery sale in Hereford last week.
Emma Plunkett, who has an imported jewellery business in London, brought a selection of Indian jewellery to Sybella Kirkbride’s house in Bishopstone to raise money for St Michael’s Hospice.
Emma and Sybella spent nearly a year in India before they went to university and it inspired her to set up her business.
“It was just brilliant that Sybella and Emma wanted to support St Michael’s in this way,” said Helen Cotterell, fundraising consultant for St Michael’s.
“Emma has a lot of dealings with a hospice in India and she was just so happy to also support our local hospice with her sale.”
